About Us

Since 1993, Stirling University Innovation Park Ltd has been providing support services to organisations involved in new product development, process improvement and technology transfer.  The Innovation Park works closely with the Enterprise Network to help companies identify the barriers to product development and overcome them.

The Innovation Park aims to stimulate innovation, product and process development and technology transfer within firms in Scotland. Through assisting companies to establish a continuous improvement culture, the Innovation Park aims to promote enhanced growth, competitiveness, creativity, customer satisfaction and market share, both nationally and internationally.

The Innovation Park tries to achieve this by adopting an open and 'can-do' approach. Its staff has direct experience of the product development process and can help in identifying a company's potential and developing a market-led, pragmatic solution leading to faster growth.

In July 2004, the Innovation Park embarked on an ambitious programme that runs in concert with its other innovation support activities.  The Scottish Collaboration & Innovation Programme (SCIP) aims to promote co-operation in research and development and knowledge transfer between SMEs, larger companies and the Scottish public sector science base.
