Azalient (Unit 8) Azalient is a software engineering company specialising in software for modelling traffic: both vehicles and pedestrians. Azalient's software is primarily used for planning; it models the economic and environmental costs of different modes of transport for new developments or changes to roads, city centres or even airports. These models are used to compare alternatives and assist in the choice of a solution that minimises total cost. For example, in justifying the case for a new park and ride facility, a model can show the difference in costs if people choose to commute by rail instead of road. Azalient software is currently used in Europe, Australia, USA and Canada. Contact: Gordon Duncan Tel: 0141 416 1144 Email: enquiries@azalient.comWeb: www.azalient.com
