Software Company Switches to Innovation Park
28/01/2010

The UK’s largest private software provider has swapped its old Victorian Scottish premises for the modern business environment of Stirling University Innovation Park.

The Scottish division of IRIS Legal Solutions has moved from Bridge of Allan to the Beta Centre on the Innovation Park.

Brian Welsh, general manager of the company’s Scottish operation said: “We were looking to move to a more modern open-plan environment that would allow everyone to work in the same room and provide an enhanced team atmosphere.”

“The Innovation Park was ideal. The facilities are great and we are part of a community of like minded software companies rather than being on our own.”

Twelve people are currently working out of the office which supplies software to 25% of the legal market in Scotland. New products will drive organic growth of the Stirling office which is one of 21 IRIS has throughout the UK.

The company has 60,000 clients mainly in the UK and employs 1200 people developing, selling and supporting its market-leading range of software applications for accountancy firms, legal practises, not-for-profit organisations, SMEs and start-up businesses.

Lynn Blaikie the Innovation Park’s Operations and Business Development Manager, said:” We are delighted to welcome IRIS to the Innovation Park and wish them every success in growing their business.”
